Before any tooth whitening service, our dentist will examine your teeth to ensure that you are a good candidate for the treatment. For example, if you have cavities, gum disease, or tooth decay, these issues must be addressed before tooth whitening. Additionally, tooth whitening is most effective on yellow or brown teeth and may not significantly lighten gray or blue hues.

It’s important to note that tooth whitening isn’t a permanent solution. Depending on your diet and lifestyle habits, your teeth may start to darken again over time. To maintain your bright smile, we recommend brushing and flossing regularly, avoiding foods and drinks that stain teeth (such as coffee and red wine), and scheduling regular dental cleanings.
