Dr. Lawrence Chong graduated from the Dental School of University of Western Ontario in 2005. Soon after graduating he left to explore Northern Ontario, practicing dentistry in Moose Factory, Kashsachewan, Fort Albany, Peewanuck, Attawapiskat and Moosonee. In 2007 he moved to Sault Ste. Marie and has been working in Cambrian Dental Centre to this date. During this time, he has received various trainings in the fields of sedation dentistry, laser dentistry and is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and the Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Chong provides various oral surgery procedures such as removal of wisdom teeth and other restorative and cosmetic procedures under conscious sedation, so the treatment received is as pleasant as can be in a dental office. He believes in comprehensive dental treatment, but emphasizes education. He believes in presenting as much knowledge to patients to enable them to have the confidence in making their own decisions and therefore contributing to the treatment plan and the final result.
Currently he is receiving addtional training with neuromuscular dentistry and orthodontics. Skills which he will soon provide for his patients.
Dr. Orest Kinach has practiced Dentistry in Sault Ste Marie since 1978. The primary goal of his practice in Sault Ste. Marie has been to provide dental services so that his patients can maintain strong healthy teeth for life. To acheive this Dr. Kinach provides a wide vatiety of dental services including all manner of restorative services including single visit all ceramic crowns, dentures and implants to replace missing teeth.
Especially important to long term maintenance of teeth are regular visits to maintain the health of the gum tissues and maintenance of teeth and tooth whitening if desired.
Dr. Kinach is a long time member of the Sault Ste. Marie and District Dental Society, the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association and the International Association of Orthodontics(General Dentists who practice some orthodontics).
